Redefining Blocks is changing Xref draw order

Hi,

I have come across a situation wherby when a user redefines a block in a drawing it is changing the draw order of the xrefs.

The block in question is the Plan frame, and is located in paperspace. The user redefines the block and the xrefs change their draw order in the viewport. A regen does not unfortunately correct the issue.

Has anyone seen this or know of a solution to this problem? I have not had any success looking for similar posts.

Drawings were created with Civil 3D 2010. The plan frame block is a dynamic block.

Nothing to read in the Help files about your question but I wonder if a redefine moves the block(s) to the top in draw order.

Regen won't affect objects in viewports. The command for that is REGENALL. Does the draw order of the Xrefs change in model space also after redefining the block?
