I have an exercise that I picked up several years ago for AutoCAD where the students draw a pool table and position balls (circles) on the table, then determine how far the cue ball travels to sink all the balls in order. I'm looking for other exercises along those lines but have had a very difficult time finding anything even remotely similar. Has anyone heard of anything along these lines and if so would you be willing to share them? If there's a book out there that might help I'd be willing to purchase it, obviously. I'm really just looking for anything to grab the students' (college) interest early and get them excited about using the program. Drawing a bunch of circles and polygons doesn't seem to cut it.

Thanks in advance for any help or advice.
