    Default Ceiling Grids + Hatch

I am trying to create ceiling that is made up of 2' x 2' Metal Perforated Panels. I'd like to have the panel grid stay while also having the hatch of "dots" to represent the Perforated Panels.

The only way I've found to do this is to have the ceiling material to be the perforated hatch and add the panels in as detail lines...... yuck.

    Thanks!

Find a sand pattern in the revit.pat file and merge it with a 2'x2' cross hatch....

You can try something like this:

*Ceiling_Dots, 2'x2' Ceiling pattern with dot hatch
    ;%TYPE=MODEL
    0, 0,0, 0,24
    90, 0,0, 0,24
    0, 0, 0, 8, 8, 0, -4, 0, -4, 0, -4
    0, 4, 4, 8, 8, 0, -4, 0, -4, 0, -4

You could also try Hatch22 (http://mertens3d.com/tools/tools.php) to create your own pattern with a more regular grid of perforations.
