Default Create a polyline Section from surface?

Let me see if I can describe this right. We have a surface showing a retaining wall. The plan view of the wall looks like an "S". We'd like to elevate it (aka elevation of it through the center of the whole thing). I'm thinking there must be a way for me to create a polyline through the middle of it. Run some command (which command?) and autocad would spit out the view through the center of the retaining wall.

    Thanks! Sage

Try SECTION command then pick 3 points

    or

SECTIONPLANE command. Place the section line then Generate 2D/3D section via right-click menu.
