Revit Decals

I wish that you can put a decal in a family. I hate putting multiple decals on the same type of family, (for example 10 outside awnings with the company logo on it) I have to place 10 decals on the family. I would love to place it in the family once! what does everyone think? Is there any work arounds

I would like to see a decal in unrendered elevations, rather than the crossed out box, for use in contract drawings.

Yes, but allow user to have on / off control via visibity settings.

Oh of course. I think any item should be able to be turned off at users discretion, just like the show hide thing, but permanently so it doesn't print.
