    Question "Small" Wide-format scanner/plotters

We're looking to replace our old HP 750c plotter. I've looked at multi-function plotters from both HP and Oce. The problem we're encountering is with the sheer size of these units. Our office is crowded. The space where the existing plotter sits is only 68" wide. We don't plot anything larger than D size, and most of the items we'd need to scan are that size or smaller. So we only need something 24-36" wide and the smallest one I've seen so far is 42".
Does anyone know of another manufacturer making smaller machines?

We've been quite happy with our Canon iPF750. And unlike our old HP DJ800, it starts printing as soon as we send it a drawing - the driver doesn't have to sit there and think for 30 seconds before it starts printing.

What did you think of the Oce Plotwave 300? Its footprint is only 61" x 32"... We just got one a few months ago and its great...we had a Xerox before and it was huge, since we got this one the room seems a lot bigger...

I recently purchased an HP 510-24". Our office uses HP's and I bought this one for home use. My advice is look at what else is out there. While the 510 is OK, HP didn't think I would want to print multiple copies unless I spent an additional $400.00 for a network card which I discovered after much frustration and only because a service tech was at our office and knew about this terriffic feature from HP. I would strongly suggest an other brand solely for this reason. Nice results if you only want one copy but slow as well.
