2009 ACAD LT - PDF not plotting

I dragged a PDF from WinExplorer into ACAD. I changed it to layer 0 and did a plot preview. It showed up just fine. However, when I go to plot it (or create a PDF with PDF995) the embedded PDF does not show up. I can have the frame plot or not by toggling the OLEFRAME variable but nothing changes the fact that the PDF image will not plot.

OLEFRAME = 1
OLEHIDE = 0
OLEQUALITY = 0
OLESTARTUP = 1

Any ideas?

I ended up using an old Acrobat 6.0 to save the PDF as a TIF and that is working fine. But any ideas as to why the PDF isn't working are appreciated.
