Default Creating a new area plan type

So on a previous project we created new area plan types as needed. We had three types that calculated and broke down the area of the building in different ways... ...Gross Building, History, Occupancy in lieu of the standard Gross Building and Rentable. I need to do this on another project in order to create multiple area calcutions and I forgot how I did it. Can anyone shed some light?

See attached image of what we had.

    Thanks.

Hope it's not too late but keep in mind you can use transfer project standards to get those area schemes from one project to another. If you have area schedules associated with those scheme you can copy/paste those into the new project as well. Why do it again if you've already done it once?

Ran into same issue, could not remember how it was done and the "attached" that was provided in earlier response wasn't available. So, as a memory jogger for my future self and for others finding themselves in similar scenario, this is how one creates new area plan types (also, available as a color scheme category):

Architecture tab > Room & Area panel drop-down > Area and Volume Computations > Area Schemes tab

    I'm working in Revit 2018
