    OK,

Graphics accelerator is on. Changed size of fitting symbols - results can be seen. Changed hidden line gaps - no changes. Removed all filters - no changes. Yelled at computer - no changes.

Yeah, wouldn't expect that "yelled at computer" to work, if it did it will get really noisy at work!

    Okay...

one - try copy to clipboard/paste - into a brand new "empty" stock template. Just make sure you have similar levels in the new project file first. Try to paste just what you've showed us in your image, don't worry about the link. What do you get? If it is still doing it, can you post that file here?

two - cut/paste aligned > same place - this is slightly different, you are taking some of the pipe, discarding it using cut but then pasting the same thing (but now new stuff) back into the same location.

I've seen "corruption" where doing this restored "something" via cut/paste aligned same place.

That is unusual. I have never seen anything like that before. I'd have to lean towards corruption as well.

I had the same problem as the original poster and changing the Hidden Line settings worked like a charm!

    Thanks.

Now the year is 2020, my Revit is 2020. I have this issue with one of my view. My views share the same view template but just one of them has this issue. Pipe settings not work for me.
If I change the view from Hidden Line to Wireframe then the fittings become solid, but I don't want wireframe. You can see in the screen shot, when the fitting and line is selected there is wide blue block surround. In other view when they are selected only blue single lines highlighted.
    Thanks for any help.
