    Default Crossing pipe or duct

I have changed the Standard Layer key style, and made a new duct and pipe system defintion.
But now there is no hidden line any more when I cross a pipe on different levels.

When i look in style manager, duct system defintions, Display properties
under "2 Line" is the display component e.g. Contour - hidden or Connector hidden disapeared.
    So I cant change it.

Is there a way to bring it back again. ?

    Regards
    Menno

Don't use the Standard style to begin a new System Definition. Copy/Paste another style and make your necessary changes since most of the AEC Object parameters are already in place.

    Thanks,

I also just find out that the hidden only works in Plan view.

This is correct, Plan View only.

Also note you can adjust these settings by going to Options > MEP Display Control. Under "Crossing Objects Display" you have some options, then at the bottom you have the "Enable Display by Elevation" option which brings the cut plane into play.

Does this "cut plane" thing not only work with parts from MEP.
It would be great when you could change elevation views from serveral floor levels with this display configuration. And than with all type off drawings, not only with AMEP member parts.

Non-MEP Parts aren't intuitive enough to work with the cut plane. In other words, Lines and Polylines and Circles, etc.... those cannot be driven by the cut plane.

The key is to set up AutoCAD MEP where you're only using the "MEP Parts" so it does work in your favor.
