Default Rendered image looks like shaded image

I am tring to create an exterior rendering using rendered materials but it looks the same as the shaded view, even though I changed the view seting to realist, fine and the material has been assigned an image in the render appearence tab of the material seting.

Default Re: Rendered image looks like shaded image

Make sure you are using the little tea-pot button at the bottom of the screen. Set this up and then hit render. It may take a while to render the image depending on your settings and project complexity. All other view settings - coarse, medium, fine, wire frame, hidden, shaded, realistic, etc. are all non-rendered settings.

    Hope this helps.
