Default Navisowrks compatible with Primavera Contractor v6.1?

I know that Timeliner can use P6 and P3 schedules through ODBC, but can it do the same thing with Primavera Contractor?

P6 comes with a Software Development Kit (SDK) with drivers that enable this, and the compatibility information for Navisworks also specifies that this SDK must be installed in order for Navisworks to be able to connect to the schedules. Contractor does not come with SDK, so I am assuming that Navisworks will not be able to connect to the schedule. I was hoping, though, that I could find the SDK as a standalone somewhere and enable this functionality with Contractor.

I have tried contacting Oracle on this, but of course they have not replied.

Does anyone know if (a) it is possible to find the SDK as a standalone, (b) the SDK for P6 will work with Contractor, or (c) I will be forced to get P6 because a and/or b are not possible?

    TIA

    Sorry for the late reply.

The SDK is an option when installing P6 version 8 and I've never seen it as a standalone program. If a standalone version for Contractor exists it will be on Oracle's very friendly e-delivery site for downloading software for evaluation prior to purchase.

Personally I use csv files generated from P6 reports. They open/resync fast in navis and are easy to share...
