Default Invisible viewport in a newly open autocad file

An invisible viewport appear in an autocad newly opened file when we selected viewport using FILTER command in a layout. If we delete it and switch to model space and back to layout it reappears. Is there any solution to avoid this.

    thank you,

Possibly - go to Options\Display and see if "Create viewport in new layouts" is checked.

What AutoCAD version and verticle are you running? (Civil 3D 2012, AutoCAD 2013, etc...) Do you have any plug-in software? You could try switching profiles if you have one that doesn't have the support path for the plug-in software. An acaddoc.lsp file may have a reactor in it that creates the viewport when switching to layout. Enter (findfile "acaddoc.lsp") to find the location of the file if you have one.
Search for the lisp function vlr-command-reactor to see if a reactor is loaded in there. If it's there find out who put it there, it may be needed for a certin process to function correctly.
