Default Civil 3D and LLD 2009

I have both installed on my PC. If I open Civil 3D and then close it. Open LDD, I cannot get any of te LDD commands to work. There is no project path and I cannot associate a project path because no LDD commands work. Any suggestions?

    Which version of C3D?

I've found that opening C3D (2010-12) drawings in LDD that newer AECC objects will "cripple" LDD commands. I'm assuming this is the case here.

To work between newer versions of C3D and LDD 2009, you must do an AECEXPORTTOAUTOCAD on the C3D drawing (choose 2007 file format) and export the drawing with dumbed down AECC objects.

The first culprit I found on this was actually the newer MTEXT.

    Hope this helps.
