Presently working on a project to recreate the profile of the attached image. Looking for the best way to match the profile AND acheive symmetry. The edge of interest is highlighted in light green. Guidance sought

Hi Phil (I'm assuming that's your name)!

First, I have to say that I see you're using Softimage. I'm a max user, so I can't really get into the technical "how-tos", but I have had experience in modeling based off a photo that has perspective distortion. I solved this by following some steps very closely to this tutorial. It's best to take the photo yourself for true camera-matching techniques, but you can fake it pretty well if you're supplied the photo. This should give you fairly good platform to get correct height vs. width ratio no matter what software you're using. From there, you can model one side, then mirror to the other.
