    Question How Do I Stop Dimensions From Automatically Updating

    I Don't want all my dimensions to automatically update when i change a setting in the manager. Their has to be some setting because this only happens in some drawings. Please help!!!

    You are changing the properties of a dimension type to look different? If so, then you need to duplicate the dim type, give it a new name, then make your changes. This dim type will only change the dimensions with that Type.

    I just figured out my problem. I was modifying mu dimstyle instead of overriding it. You have to have the dimstyle current to override it. DUH!!!
