    Default Command Alias Problem

I'm trying to create new command aliases in 2012 and hit a loop. I use the Express tools ribbon and enter both my new alias and the command name (3d2-3dinspect2). The dialog asks if I want to add the new command to the list. I say yes and get an "unhandled exeption" message and click continue, but it just leads back to the first dialog again in an endless loop. I had no problem doing all this in 2011 on the same machine.
    Any suggestions?

My suggestion is dont use the express tool to edit the pgp file, manually do it yourself, then you wont get any errors.

    Are you using Windows 7?

I am also getting an unhandled exception. The error says:

Access to the path "C:\Program Files\Autodesk\AutoCAD Civil 3D 2012\Express\alias.pgc" is denied.

This is a permissions issue in Windows. To access this folder on my computer you need administrative permissions.

Thanks. That did it. On the Manage tab of the ribbon is a Customization drop-down that leads you right to the actual text PGP file. That worked fine.
