Is there a way to specify the position of the sensor point from which glazing factor is taken? Also, does anyone know what date and time this calculation is performed at?

I'm not sure glazing factor (do you mean daylight factor?) is based on a sensor location. I'm pretty sure GBS doesn't actually calculate daylight harvesting use. I think DF is a simple calculation of room area and the associated window area above a certain horizontal plane.
There is not a way to specify the daylight sensors through Green Building Studio. GBS does place two daylight sensors per space in the model in a default location (approximately 15 feet from the window). Approximately daylight savings in energy is estimated by running the appropriate design alternative for the run in question. These sensor placements can be edited in eQUEST by downloading the input file.
See the help page linked to the GBS website for more information on design alternatives in GBS. http://wikihelp.autodesk.com/Green_B...030-Overview30
Never heard about how to solve this problem before...
