I have a user who's masking regions are not behaving properly, they are not masking like they should. The view is not set to wire frame.
Any ideas?

Are the masking regions set to transparent? If you create a brand new one does it do that?

Transparent? You can only make filled regions transparent, unless I am totally missing a setting...?
It is only for one plan view, in all other views they masking regions work perfectly. Also filled regions in this one plan view even when set to Opaque are not behaving properly either.

As far as I know there is no way to set a masking region to be transparent, other than having the view in wireframe. Masking regions do not have any type properties, or any instance properties other than Area and Comments. There is no Masking Region subcategory for Detail Items in V/G that can be set to transparent.
Only other thing I can think of is a view range issue. Not sure about floor plans but I have seen ceiling plans act like wireframe views even when set to Hidden Line if the view range is set to Unlimited across the board.
I had the user check and the view range for that plan is associated with that level and the offsets are at 0'-0".
The problem has been figured out.
In the View Graphics dialog box, on the Model Categories tab the "Detail Items" line had "Transparent" checked. Sometimes it's the mundane things that get overlooked.
That's what Scott was referring to when he asked if they were set to transparent. He just neglected to mention "in the visibility/graphics overrides."
And you all thought I didn't know what I was talking about
