    Default Ring Circuit?

Is there the option to create a ring circuit in revit? I can't seem to find out how to do it. Please don't tell me it's radials only, 32A ring circuits are very common in the UK.

I can say.... Looking into the magic 8 ball...

    Outlook not so good..

I think you may be able to 'fake it'. It just depends on what your wanting from it, but from what I've seen so far Revit is not made for low voltage design.

I would like a 32A ring with a 2.5mm twin & earth (6242b), probably the most common circuit going in LV design. When 32A is entered in the circuit schedule it bumps the cable up to 6mm.

From my experience over the lasy few months it feels like Revit MEP is a few years away from acting like a true design package and not just pretending to be one.

I believe you can modify the Wire sizes for particular wire material/temperature/insulation in the electrical settings dialog box, so you could add a 32A Ampacity with a 2.5mm diameter. This may help.

This would then mess up the calculations for other circuits which are radial 32A circuits.
