Loading annotation family into model family

I am trying to load an annotation family into a model family. Everthing was going fine till I got an error message when I tryed to load it. Can someone please advise what to do?

try opening the floor plan - ref. level for the nurse call family. I know it won't allow you to place the annotation in a 3d view. that error message sounds more like a mis-match in categories tho, did you start the annotation family from a generic annotation?

I'm not too sure on this one, sorry.

try closing the 3D view and load it into the reference level view?

Yes I did both of those things and no change. Floor plan, ceiling plan and I actually started a new annotation based on a generic anno template. No change.

Make sure the family catagory of the nurse call 3d family is set to nurse call device. (The yellow folder on the ribbon in family editor.
