    Default visual lisp editor should be like visual studio

    Summary: Better visual lisp editor

    Description: Need a better editor for visual lisp with drag drop fuctionality for dcl. its very premitive stage till now compared to visual studio. external dll or com component need to be attached with dcl

    I agree in principle, but creating an IDE from scratch is a major investment in time and programming effort, especially when AutoDesk isn't in the business of creating software development tools. Perhaps they could spin this off, or at least provide program "hooks" so external VLISP IDEs can be independantly developed and used, similar to using Visual Studio to develop managed .NET projects.

    Then there is the concern that whatever attempts are made to "fix" it could make it worse.
