Summary: Add the ability to set the main (user) file and enterprise (Company) from the setup of autocad. Make it user friendly with all company standards apended to it.

Description: Not everyone knows or has free time to write lisp and script to push their standards on all machines in an office. The OOTB Autocad should have the ability to set a main (user) and enterprise (Company) with ease. This way the company can placetheir standards on the back end of enterprise. The idea would have the deployment set a local cad folder on the users machine as the main and puts their computer username/login as the user. Then if they want to use the enterprise then it will have the default acad with the company standards, profiles, & workspaces apended to it. Poof the office is now set up the same. Also the users now have their own setup while staying current.

IMHO if you are in charge of deploying software you should be familiar with the tools for customization such as LISP, scripting, and registry editing, as part of your job description. For example, the latter is how I handle pointing to the initial Main/Enterprise CUIx files among other settings.

Relying on users to manually pick the right settings on a regular basis isn't something to aim for; instead, if things like the Enterprise and Main CUIx files are to change on a regular basis these should be done behind the scenes so the users can concentrate on the design rather than the operation of the software.
