    Default Block Editor in a floating window, with the current drawing still active

    Summary: Block Editor in a floating window, with the current drawing still active

    Description: the Block Editor should be in a floating window, with the current drawing still active -- this is used very effectively in numerous other software, including Revit.

    there are a multitude of advantages, for example:
    - speed and accuracy of working, it's possible to compare adjust and remeasure the insertion areas in the main drawing space, while still working in the block editor, without closing and reopening the BE, (at present we do this dozens of times for more complex blocks, there is no simpler way aside from exploding the block and redefining it, which loses dynamic controls, or using RefEdit which creates a new block definition each time);
    - there is no need for the Test Block Window and Edit Block Preview, this could potentially work parametrically and switch between blocks by just highlighting them in the DesignCenter (most image and web editors effectively work like this);
    - live preview, changes that impact on multiple instances of the edited block can be highlighted and corrected before committing the changes, minimising coordination errors in users work;
    - performance, every time you open and edit a block it chews up a little chunk of memory and degrades performance, in drawings with large numbers of dynamic blocks this can add substantial overhead and force a application restart to keep working;
    - no more of your users accidentally closing the Block Editor and their drawing at the same time without saving changes, losing work;
    - no more closing a dynamic block with a different Visibility State selected and having all the current inserted blocks reset their visibility without warning;
    - and too many more to mention.

    P.S. equally this concept could be applied to Dimension and Text Style Editors
