Default Make it possible to draw the current section box tool in a plan

Summary: A marquee selection tool applied in plan in order to view elements in 3D (as in - sorry - ArchiCAD)

Description: A marquee selection tool applied in plan in order to view elements in 3D. Similar to the existing Section Box, however it can be drawn in plan views in order to view specific areas/elements in 3D. The top and bottom extents can be defined in the properties or by dragging in 3D.

Create a floor plan callout in your plan view. Navigate to your 3D view. Right click on the view cube and select orient to view. Choose the callout view you just created... voila! Section box in a 3D view with same extents and view depth as the callout.
Don't create a bunch of these views. Just save it with a good name and move it around to where it's needed.
