Unhappy My AC2004 run on Windows 7?

Thinking I was doing myself a favour I upgraded WindowsXP to Windows 7. Result - AC installs but wont run. The problem appears to be XP is 32bit and W7 is 64bit. Does anyone know of a workaround or a fix? 64bit versions of AC are expensive. Thanks

You should be able to run in compatibility mode but, if you have the Pro, Ultimate or Enterprise edition of Win_7, you are entitled to download and use Micros**t's "XP mode" emulator or you can use any virtual pc software like - VirtualBox.

Thanks John. I tried the first option but discovered I dont have the right edition. I'm about to try the Virtual box. Seems complicated at first glance but I'll soldier on. Cheers.
