    Default Unable to import Point Cloud (.fls) file in Revit 2012

    anyone else having this issue? my Fero version is SCENE LT - 4.8.2.25521 (x64) - 64 bit I keep getting this error while importing cloud data

    Had the same issue. I used the link below to download the fix and all is good. One thing to note is this fix only works on indexing the fls file and not flw. Not sure why.

    That did it thank you very much . My only problem now is that it comes in slightly out of scale. A 2x4 grid is 1' 10x3' 8.5. any sugestions. I measured it in The Fero software and it is correct 2x4.

    My only recommendation then is to make sure your point cloud scale is set correctly. Select the point cloud and select the "edit type" button and make sure your scale is correct (refer to the help files for better scale explanations) i can't remember the actual recommendations off the top of my head right now.

    Also when you bring your first cloud in (if you have more than one) set the right scale on that point cloud and then when you bring the rest in they should come in at the same scale. (Make sure you set your remaining point clouds origin to "origin of last placed" that way they should stitch together correctly. Once they are all referenced in I would then rotate or move them as/if needed.

    That was it . the correct scale is set at 3.2808399. then boom verything lines up thanks everyone for the asist. I c an always count on Augi (because Autodesk help and my reseller were nowhere to be found for the help lol)
