Autocad 2011 MEP randomly missing lines on 3d pipes

Attached is a image of one of many cases where autocad MEP 2011 randomly does not print lines. It does it randomly even if you plot or make a pdf. It is printed using legacy hidden as the style. Any ideas would help! I am unable to post the cad file due to the nature of the contract.

A flaw of AutoCAD MEP. What I do is use CONVERTTO3DSOLIDS command to convert to a solid, then I can create a 2D block using FLATSHOT command. It's more work, yes... but it's a workaround that is fail-safe. Fail-safe, that is, in getting the lines to show, not in utilizing the actual model as the view, forfeiting the ever maintaining fidelity of the view.

For the record, I've been using AutoCAD MEP since it was still Autodesk Building Systems 2007 and this has never worked 100% correctly. I've never known of another workaround that gets it right other than the one I've just posted.

What works in AutoCad is to set the HIDEPRECISION value to 1 (from 0) hope this helps.
