The drawing in question was only moved horizontally on the orignial. I had copy/pasted to post this drawing.

I did some checking and all the points seem to correspond with 0,0. Maybe some backround info may help.
This drawing shows how I get what is needed.
I start with a copy of the layered panel at 0,0 and place each layer higher up the (y axis).

So if I'm thinking correctly, I'm currently doing Ordinate Dimensioning at 0 (x axis), and plus 0 (y axis). I say plus 0 because some larger panels force me to spread out the individual layers.
So, you didn't create a UCS for the ordinate dimensions?
You were lucky that you moved the geometry vertically and required only horizontal distances dimensioned.

In theory - you don't. If you had required vertical distances to be dimensioned, the values would have been wrong because they would have been measured from the point that you earlier marked with the red circle.

If I understand correctly, I would need to Ordinate Dimension with the panel corner at 0,0,.....just as I would do MASSPROP for the centroids?

Going back to your earlier drawing: I have marked the top-left and bottom-left corners of the panel with green circles - you would normally use one of these positions. I have created a UCS based on the top-left corner and saved the UCS with the name "ODim1" - you should see the UCSIcon at the origin. I have added a couple of ordinate dimensions IN THIS COORDINATE SYSTEM, also in green.
    HTH.

Edit : and now I've added the image.

    Jaborwok,
    Thanks for the reply!
Any chance you could post the file in an earlier version of Cad? My 2000LT tells me the file is incapatable.

Here it is in 2000 format.
You were lucky - I don't normally save these things. Good luck.
