    Default huge problem intersection

    Hello Civil 3d users,
will you please please help me with intersection design of my project, if you could please see the attached file of my project. in this drawing what I noticed that, the big problem was in curb return, and also I found strange grade changes in Road B profile ( which is secondary road with intersection Road A), I also want you guys to tell me why this big change in grade happened ?

to be honest I just started working with civil3d a few days ago and I don't know more about it, and what I learnt about civil 3d, only from civil3d manual.

    thanks in advance

before I open the file; my guess is you either did not assign profiles for your curb return assemblies to use,
or the softare (intersection wizard) failed you. The last part would be why I 'still' teach my students how to create an intersection without using the wizard. More Later....

I'm not totally sure what your design intent was here; however it looks like you chose the WRONG profile for Road A. Unless using the RT-Ditch profile is what you wanted to do.
Next I would suggest examining your assemblies and the cut fill slope parameters and targets for those regions.

Did you profile the roads or ditches? Im a little confused also. What are the ditches targeting. It say it is targeting a ditch profile. Did you allow C3D to create profiles for the curb returns?

I'm pretty sure this was a simple targeting issue, the lack of follow up by the original poster would indicate the issue has been resolved.
