MTEXT Background Masking Improvements
Summary: System variables to enable background masking in MTEXT and to set the border offset factor
Description: Provision of system variables to enable background masking to be used in mtext as a default. Also a system variable to set the default border offset factor.
How Used: Time saver! Way too many steps required to apply background masking.

this could / should be an option for Mtext styles,
also the border should have a linetype and linecolor option, (not just the shaded background as it is currently).

And, let's have the ability mask the Mtext TEXT, not just the bounding box around the MTEXT object. A lot of my notes/callouts have multiple lines, and often I would prefre that only the area directly underneath the letters is masked.
especially if the first or last line is dramatically shorter than the others...

Sooooo dissapointed that 2012 release didn't address this! Does anybody have a workaround, a lisp routine, anything???
