Default Custom Door & Window Styles

I am having a problem setting custom door and window styles. I can create the doors and windows, but no matter what size I specify them in the style mananger, they come in standard 36x81(door) and 36x60(window) when I insert them in a drawing. I then have to go to properties and click on the standard size that I made them originally to get them to change to the right size. I have read through my book, and several online tutorials, and can't figure out where I'm going wrong.

How are you initiating the placement of instances of your custom Door and Window Styles? Simply assigning a standard size in the Style will not guarantee that size will be used (you can have multiple standard sizes in the same style). The DOORADD and WINDOWADD commands will "remember" the last sizes entered at the Command Line or in the Properties Palette and use those the next time. If you are using a Tool on a Tool palette, you can edit the Tool's properties to force a given size when the Tool is used (this will not reset the previous default values).
