Default Lower level fixtures show on upper level views

In the attached pic you can see a shower and two sink basins showing in the roof. The sinks and shower are on the 2nd level and the view of the men's room is the 3rd level. The Revit link settings are set to show the 3rd level and all other settings are set to 'linked view'. The 3rd level doesn't show like this in the architect's model so my question is... how can this possibly be showing up in our model like this when we have everything set to linked view, our view range is the same as the architects and so are the phases??!? What am I missing?

Check your underlay setting, I bet it is set to the level below. HTH

Check in section maybe the arch did not model them correctly?

Compare your View's Range with what the Architect's has it set to in his model. Or else post an image of the View's Properties and Range so we can see.

try setting Depth Clipping to Clip without line in the view properties. i've had this fix things that shouldn't be showing acording to view depth. Or, you don't have a mystery plan region hidden do you?

Try setting you view range to host view. I have seen the architectural file view range bottom or depth below the associated level so lower roofs or canopies will show up. It has to do with the view discipline, if it is set to architectural it blocks the plumbing fixtures but set to M or E they show up. (Similar to what happens in a 3D view) the downfall to setting view range for the linked view to host view is your back ground will not look the same but you can probably fix with a plan region. You also may want to make sure you are set to hidden line.

The quick answer is change your graphic setting underlay to 'none'

I have a similar problem because of the grade of the project. I have to set a cut plane, view depth and so on so I can see both the "deep end" and "shallow" end of the building. Because of this on one side I start to see the objects on the floor above. I am interested in seeing if there is a way to get these to not show up without changing and settings in the view range.
