Default Where can I find Copper Pipe Fittings

I know that Revit has generic copper pipe fittings, but from the looks of it I think they are press fit, and I'm looking for soldered fittings. Plus I've noticed that generic pipe fittings in revit don't account for lengths of pipe that need to go into the fitting (eg threaded pipe). Anyone have any idea where I can find some copper soldered fittings?

We did some for Uponor which can be found on seek, but I believe their application is specific to radiant floor heating. You may want to take a look though and use some of the fittings as some do account for the pipe going into the fittings so that you receive an accurate pipe length takeoff for the contractor.

If you are using 2012 then the copper fittings are both brazed and soldered. The soldered ones look like press fit but are actually meant to represent solder ring fittings. If you need the pipe to "insert" into the fitting then you have 3 choices:-
1 - Adjust the straight extensions of fittings so that they stop at the depth the pipe would fit in to the fitting.
2 - Adjust the connector positions so that there is a straight length on the connector that fits around the pipe. This will however most likely cause you intereference check problems unles you remake these sections to be hollow based on the ID & OD of the fittings
3 - Don't get too hung up on this level of detail unless you have to produce a bill of quantities so accurate that even a highly experienced pipe fitter couldn't.wouldn't create, due to allowing for a margin of error on calculation/wastage/etc.

They are in the UK families. Oddly the UK folder has way more families than the US ones.

I ran across the same issue and had to go through the nibco catalog and created copper fittings to match the dimensions. We did the same thing for steel pipe and cast iron. it was a long process using lookup tables but i have not had any issues with pipe fittings since then.

You can find a pipe fitter or easily by searching on Google.
