Our office recently upgraded from running AutoCAD 2010 on Windows XP to 'CAD 2012 on Windows 7. I just noticed today that all of my zooming/panning around isn't being combined as I'm accustomed to (at least how I think I'm accustomed to, no way to check if 'CAD 2010 actually combines scroll wheel input like I remember it doing...)
Checked all of my settings:
"Combine zoom and pan commands" under Undo/Redo is checked
UNDO settings: Auto = On, Control = ALL, Combine = Yes, Layer = Yes
UNDOCTL = 53 (from what I can tell, this is appropriate and correct)
Then I played around with zooming/panning/etc. What I found was that if I use keyboard input for the commands pan and zoom, undo WILL combine them. However, if I use my scroll wheel it sort of semi-combines a couple together in groups. The pattern seems be that it groups all pans one zoom. (see attached).
This isn't just my computer, restarting CAD doesn't help, restarting the computer doesn't help. Not really a giant issue, just a mildly annoying inconvenience.
Anyone willing to hazard a guess as to why there is a difference here?
