Provide a new Block manager palette that streamlines working with blocks visually and is simliar to working with XREFS.
Summary: Block Manager Palette - showing nested blocks tree, block properties, highlighting of blocks on screen when selected in the palette, renaming of blocks.
Description: Key features:
1) Tree style listing of blocks indicating all nested blocks
2) Thumbnail image of blocks displayed for each block including the nested blocks. Simliar to the XREF palette where you can point at the XREF and it displays a thumbnail image.
3) It would be nice if properties could be included or rather a choice of properties maybe even coordinates of each and every block on the drawing. Or how many instances of a particular block are in a given drawing. It could be combined with the properties pallette but I would like to see the entire list of blocks and see the nested structure and see thumbnails all in one dockable/collapsable palette.
4) Highlight blocks on screen when block is selected on the palette.
5) Ability to rename blocks or groups of blocks from the palette. Or maybe add a prefix to all instances of a block.
Blocks are a major part of CAD and this would help every user identify blocks faster on drawings received from clients or other firms and determine if they are part of another block in a visual display rather than a mere list of names with no relation to each other indicated.
