Default 2000 LT- Dictating block snap points

    Me again....
Is there a method to format a block dwg. to have specific snap points?
The attached drawing shows an example of my desired snap points. The needed snap points are only at the center of radius or the center line at the threaded end. All other points are normally irrelevant in 99% of the cases.
I know I can set the insertion point but if I need the other snap point I add additional steps by selecting snap to this point or that point. If I can dictate snap points that would save me a ton of time.

You could insert a POINT entity within the block - you would pick it with the NODe osnap.
