    Default Dimensions in Navisworks Simulate

    Hi,

I am new to the software and am struggling to get accurate dimensions from the model.
I am using the Point to Point Measure tool, but I cant tell exactly what I have selected.
Is there a way of `Snapping' the measurement to certian points like in AutoCAD.

    Thanks
    Jim

You do have snaps, but not like in CAD. Watch the cursor, the best snap IMHO, is "End Point" that makes the cursor look like a tripod.
The snaps request to look more like CAD has been placed into the wishlist, but I would encourage you to "pile on" and pester Adesk as well.

You have to enable snaps in Navisworks options...start there.
