Default 2011 DescKeys decided to go haywire

I have a pretty lengthy description key set that I have used to much success on about twenty previous jobs. But just today they decided to stop working. Layers, point styles, point data, all of it has gone weird. For instance, any point beginning with a "C" or a "V" winds up displaying my comm manhole symbol. Which shouldn't happen because I use "T" (telecom) for all of my comm points. When selected, the point style is listed as "default". All other blocks, no matter what their description is, wind up using my "Standard" point style, which, by the description key definition, should only apply to points that aren't defined by the DescKey set.

I've even tried to import this field book into a drawing from a different job where everything worked, but it was still all wrong. There are no differences between the point values in the two drawings (like, if I had dpnez instead of pnezd, y'know?)

A little help before I teach my laptop how to fly, please.

Update: I fixed it, but I'm not sure how. I opened an edit session on the DescKey definitions, changed nothing, and closed. I re-imported, and everything came in like it was supposed to. I don't know if that was the massage C3D needed, but my stuff works so I'm all set now. Hope this can help someone in the future.
