    Default Outsourcing Plotting

My plotter is no longer supported by my AoutCAD software so I'm going to outsource full size plots. I have never created a plot file or had drawings plotted outside of the company. The companies I have contacted can accept plot files. All my drawings use the default line width for the colour selected and I plot in monochrome. If I select plot to file will it create a plot file that I could export with all the correct line widths?

Yup, that's the idea. All the plot-style issues happen when you make the plot file so they shouldn't need anything other than that.
