    Default Forces from bracing

    Hi all,

Is there a simple way of getting the horizontal forces transferred from a brace (bracing/ set of bracing? Please excuse my inferior english) to a floor? I've noticed the stories table gives the sum of FX/FY transferred to walls or columns, but what if I want the value for a single brace (/bracing etc...)?

    Thanks!
    BMan

I don't think that there is a simple way to get values of forces from bars in global coordinate system, which is desired in such situation. In my opinion the best solution is to write a macro, which transform LCS values from ends of particular bars to GCS and sum them up.
