Double Coding Line work

I am trying to double code line work. I brought in a .csv file and I had a few double codes that did not connect. My code was EOG2 ST ENT, for Edge of Gravel, also starting an entrance. The line work will not connect from my previous Edge of Gravel shot to this one. Any reason why?

do you have auto start on figure prefix matching enabled?
have you tried adding a B code after the ENT?

I'm not sure how to deal with this either. My survey is simpler but I still don't know what to do with this since you really can't have a point in two point groups. and display differently. For example I have EP for Edge of Pavement and EPIN for Edge of Pavement and and Inlet in the curb. I would appreciate some advice.
