    Angry Multi Leader Problem

Has anyone noticed that in Auto Cad 2012 a dot is placed at the insertion point when you
create a Multi Leader with a user defined block. This never happened in 2010, I cannot
seem to find a way to plot without the point showing. Any help would be appreciated.

    Thanks Mike

Maybe it's specific to Map 3D or maybe, just maybe, setting the variable PDMODE to 1 followed by a REGEN would make it go away.

Ah well, it was never a probability.
Can you post a bit of a drawing file with the problem?

Well, it's not a vanilla autocad object so maybe it is a Map 3D object. Either that or a custom object from some third-party program.
It is not supported by R12 dxf but it is supported by 2000 dxf.

Opening the drawing in Map3d 2011, and I don't see anything untoward -- unless you are talking about the geographic location marker? if that's it, it was introduced in Vanilla 2011, and can be toggled on or off with the GEOMARKERVISIBILITY setvar. Or type GEOGRAPHICLOCATION ansd remove the location info.

There is a geo location set in the drawing, Lat 37.795 North, Long 122.394 West, but no mapping coordinate system. that looks to be in Sausalito, CA, USA.

This also happens in Valilla Auto Cad, when you use one of their predefined blocks such as circle.
I think there must be a variable or setting that I can't find.

cadtag's reply seems to cover it. I removed the geographic location and the marker went away.
