REVIT MEP and TSI FAB MEP for pipe prefab discussion

Hi All,

I just went to a BIM Conference last night, and heard a bunch of great things about TSI for prefabrication. Just wondering if anyone has had experience using this, and what there experiences are? We are using Revit MEP 2012, and are currently looking for software to improve our prefabrication processes. I've also heard PipeDesigner3D is good for prefabrication, but last night was the first time I heard TSI brought up. Any comments or suggestions are greatly appreciated! Thanks.

Hello, I'm the Director of Virtual Design and Construction (VDC) for a prominent Mechanical Contractor. We have our own fabrication shop and are currently engaged in the installation of process piping for the new manufacturing facilities for INTEL. These projects are modeled completely in BIM. We detail an immense amount of 3D process piping using CADWorx Plant Professional and then send Isometric Drawings to our fab shop for their production purposes. We also have PipeDesigner3D as well.
