Default Linking multiple connectors on a manifold

I've been working on a distribution manifold for radiators (for practice, not necessarily for real world application). Consists of 3/4" supply/return main connectors from/to the boiler, and four 1/2" branch connectors each that go to/from the radiators. I want to link the four 1/2" branch connectors to the 3/4" supply connectors on both supply/return sides. IAW, I want to link the boiler supply 3/4" connector to all four of the 1/2" branch supply connectors, so that the 3/4" sums (calculates) the flow from all four branch connections from the radiators (and then do the same on the return side).

I can only seem to link the 3/4" connector to one branch connector at a time; can't link the 3/4 to all four branch connectors simultaneously. Anyone have an idea how I should proceed?

    Thanks!

I would use parameters to do the calculations, I don't know that linking connectors work that way. Anyway, for each connector, select the '=' next to the flow parameter. Assign/create new parameters for each. Make sure that each of the branch connectors are set to preset, and the main connectors are set to calculated. Then create the formula that sums the branches for the main parameters.

Or maybe its the other way around, branches calculated - mains preset. I don't remember. I guess try both.

Makes sense; thanks for the suggestion, I'll give it a try.
