Verify support for element

The model I'm working on has 76 error warning messages. Stating verify support for elament. Thesse are all steel columns, and are supported on an isolated pad. So why the error message. May be some one can shed some light on this one. As I can see from the forum that I'm not the first to come across this. Yet no solution from the previous posted thread. Any help welcomed.

Are they sitting on 1 large mat foundation or individual isolated footings?

They are sitting on isolated footings.

And if you adjust the bottom elevation of the column, dose your footing move with it. ie are they connected?
I know this sounds like a dumb question, but I've had them not connect before.
If that's not the case, I'm not sure what's going on. Are you sure it's the columns that aren't supported?

Thats what I can not figure out because I can move the bottom of the column and the footing moves with it.
Now I have numerous other columns in the model that are UK sizes and no problem. The columns with error messages are Europen sizes. Maybe something within the family group.

Did you create your own families or did you find some OOTB content that worked?
I thought I saw a while ago, Adesk put out a bunch of steel member catalogs for the different parts of the world.
I'm just assuming that they created one with Corus shapes, but I could be wrong.
If the footings are attached, I don't know what to tell you.
Best suggestion for you would be to do a little testing.
Create a new model, place one column of the same type your having issues with. Add the footing to it and see if you're getting the same error. If you are, you could send it to adesk or your local reseller to see if they have any suggestions. Another option would be to send it to Kmarsh. He's been very helpful for me in the past with goofy issues.
