    Question System variable PSQUALITY

    PSQUALITY

Does anyone know what exactly this system variable does? I have looked in ACAD help and the user guide and find no reference to it. Does anyone know of any advantages/disadvantages to changing from the default setting of <50>?

    Just curious...

    Default Re: System variable PSQUALITY

    Hi

Controls Rendering quality of PostScript images -

0 = If AutoCAD can't load a valid PostScript illustration, you can set PSQUALITY to 0 and load the image anyway. It is represented in AutoCAD by its bounding box and file name.

The above is taken from ID: TS12598 - Errors when importing PostScript files in AutoCAD R14 using the PSIN command

< 0 = Number of Pixels per AutoCAD drawing unit for PostScript resolution

    > 0 = Number of Pixels per AutoCAD drawing unit (absolute value) for PostScript resolution; causes AutoCAD to show the PostScript as outlines (no fill).

    Have a good one, Mike
