NWNAVIGATOR not working.

I have 2012 Building Design Suite Ultimate SP1 loaded. I am trying to utilize "NWNAVIGATOR" and am unsuccessful. I have searched and can't seem to find the answer to my question. i did find that others had the same issue, however the only solution seems to be re-install, which I have done twice.

Can anyone try to shed some light on a few more options. Operating system is Windows 7x64.

Hi Jason,

What failure occurs? In what product are you trying to use Navigator?

The usual things that stop Navigator from loading are install order (the AutoCAD derivative was installed before Navisworks), or not installing the AutoCAD exporter plugins for that version of AutoCAD. If you do a repair of the relevant Navisworks installer, is the appropriate (I am presuming 2012) exporter plugin listed as being installed?

I tried many times to repair and reinstall, with no success. However, I upgraded my design suite to 2013 and now navigator works in 2012, but not in 2013. Also I cannot find nwexport2013 to load that arx.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

You'll spend a lot less time trying to figure out just what little thing is wrong with the software than you would if you did a CLEAN uninstall and started fresh.

Now realize, CLEAN is capitalized and bold here. It's not just running the regular uninstall but, involves going through the Registry and deleting any remnants of the software. It can definitely take an hour or two but, you'll burn that time up faster trying to figure out where the glitch is.

Once you've done that and it still isn't working correctly, then call your reseller and tell them they need to escalate it up the chain to Autodesk.
