Summary: We need the ability to generate a wide variety of area types during the design of hospitals. These area types need to overlay each other on Fire and Life Safety drawings. The areas also need to have properties so that they can be scheduled.
Description: We freqently need to track a variety of plan areas in hospital design: Smoke compartments, suites, department areas, and fire areas are just some of the varieties used in a hospital project. The net and gross areas available to us in Revit are far too limited for sophisticated work, and we frequently need to do this analysis in AutoCad.
