    Default Learning

    Summary: One Product

Description: Wish we would just combine the positive features of AutoCAD Architecture / Revit / and 3D Studio Max into one BIM product.
Also with everything wall, roof, floor, etc. should be a simple push pull operation with your mouse/curser to resize.
As an Architect, I need a tool that is very fast, easy to use in just hours on complex buildings. No long learning curves, we cannot afford the time.

you can actually do the push-pull thing with in-place model extrusions, conceptual masses, or make your own custom families; however in its current form it is quite an inaccurate way to work. Max/Maya/Inventor have many advantages with this kind of process. the whole process of creating (eg in-place masses) in Revit is utterly tedious and involves far too many logical twists and steps to complete, if you compare it to most other 3D software, where the same is done in one or two clicks of the mouse.
